Maestro Christoph Eschenbach is leaving his position as Music Director of The Philadelphia Orchestra, which he was given in 2003. During his leadership, he has done a phenomenal job of garnering financial support, reaching out to audiences, re-establishing recording contracts and keeping the orchestra at the pinnacle of musical innovation.
